Seit seinem achten Lebensjahr spielt der gebürtige Athener Konstantinos Kampanis Cello.  Er verfügt über ein Diplom in Music Performance (Cello) des Attikon Konservatoriums und schloss ein Studium der Musiktheorie am Phillippos Nakas Konservatorium ab (Harmonie und Kontrapunkt).

Aber nicht nur die Klassik hat es ihm angetan. An der Universität von York in Großbritannien erwarb Konstantinos einen Master of Arts im Bereich Musik-Technologie und Komposition elektronischer Musik und arbeitete als Tontechniker beim Universitätsradio York.  Dort spielte er ebenfalls im Symphonie-Orchester der Universität.

Konstantinos unterrichtet Cello an mehreren Musikschulen in Frankfurt und ist zertifizierter Steinberg Cubase-Experte.

Das Hauptinstrument von Konstantinos ist ein Cello von Ivan Kaloferov, Modell “Stradivari-Piatti“. Es wurde 1976 in Bulgarien gebaut und hat im selben Jahr den ersten Preis im internationalen Instrumenten-Wettbewerb New York gewonnen.

Born in Athens, Konstantinos Kampanis has been playing the cello since the age of 8. He has a diploma in music performance (cello) from the Attikon Conservatory and finished hi studies of musical theory at the Phillippos Nakas Conservatory (harmony and counterpoint).

He’s not only into classical music, though. At the University of York in the United Kingdom, Konstantis got a Master of Arts degree in music technology and electronic music composition. He also worked as a sound engineer at the university radio York and performed in the symphonic orchstra of the University.

Konstantinos teaches cello at various music schools in Frankfurt and is a certified Steinberg Cubase expert.

His main instrument is a cello fabricated by Ivan Kaloferov, model „Stradivari-Piatti„. It was built in Bulgaria in 1976 and won the first prize at the international instrument awards in New York the same year.
